MUSIC OF BARCELONA

The innovative spirit and passion of Barcelona at the turn of the 20^th century are captured in this beautiful and appealing collection.  Produced for the Metropolitan Museum of Art, this CD celebrates the music that infused Barcelona’s concert halls, cafés and salons, including works for Spanish guitar, symphonic pieces and Spanish songs.  Among the featured Spanish composers are Granados, Albéniz, Falla, Mompou and Tárrega.
